Deep within each of us lies a powerful force – a beast that can be a source of good in a rapidly changing world, remain hidden forever, or manifest as a negative influence. Some individuals have long since unleashed their inner beast to achieve their wildest dreams, while others are still discovering the source of their greatest power. Unfortunately, some are afraid to explore their full potential, while others have given in to their inner demons that lead them astray.
In this article, I challenge you to tap into your inner beast, nurture and heal it if necessary, and embrace it as the key to unlocking your true strength. It exists as a driving force to help you become the powerful self that you have always envisioned.
Discovering My Greatest Fear:
In a recent introspective moment, I asked myself, “What do I fear the most in life?” To my surprise, it was not spiders that came to mind. Rather, I realized that my greatest fear is not living up to my fullest potential – my best life, or the best version of myself. Allow me to elaborate. Time, ideas, desires, and technology are all constantly evolving, so what exactly constitutes being the “best” version of oneself? And why is this question so pressing to me?

The Quest for Self-Improvement: Finding Your Inner Beast
Everywhere we look, we are encouraged with a message that is hard to miss: “Be your best self!” “Live your best life!” “You are capable of amazing things!” But what does it truly mean to be the “best version” of oneself?
I understand that it is easy to become frustrated with the constant buzzwords, and lack of clear direction and answers. What does it mean to live up to our full potential in a world that is constantly changing?
In a previous article, I discussed briefly the concept of “unleashing your inner beast”. This beast is powerful, fearless, strong, daring, and ready to tackle the many challenges that come its way. On the other hand, the beast may also exhibit the opposite traits and become aggressive, negative, and extremely obstinate. The objective is to center your attention on the positive energy waiting to be discovered. By tapping into this energy and digging deep, we can each find our own path to living our “best” lives.
With that in mind, I am committed to uncovering my own inner beast and creating my unique version of a “best” life.
Living your best life means different things to different people. It is a personal and subjective concept that is influenced by your values, beliefs, and experiences.
However, there are some common traits that many people associate with living their best life, such as:
– Feeling fulfilled and satisfied with your personal and professional accomplishments.
– Having meaningful relationships with friends and family.
– Taking care of your physical and mental health by exercising, eating well, and practicing self-care.
– Pursuing your passions and hobbies and engaging in activities that bring you joy.
– Continuously learning and growing as a person, both personally and professionally.
In order to unleash your inner beast and live your best life, it is important to reflect on your own values, interests, and goals. By doing so, you can identify what truly matters to you and what steps you need to take to get there.
It is also important to remember that living your best life is not a destination, but rather a journey that requires continuous effort and self-reflection.

Discovering Inner Strength by Overcoming Life’s Challenges – The Power of Overcoming Childhood Trauma:
Childhood and early adulthood can be a period of fear and insecurity, especially when one has experienced abuse. This can leave an individual feeling hurt, sad, untrusting, and disillusioned with life. In several instances, I have shared my personal struggles with fear and anxiety during my childhood and early adulthood.
Abuse, whether physical or emotional, can leave deep emotional scars that affect one’s ability to trust and appreciate life. However, it is crucial not to allow these experiences to shatter one’s spirit completely and define one’s future. There is no substitute for a life that feels irretrievable.
While it can be difficult for children to make sense of what they are going through, reaching adulthood gives us a chance to break free from the shackles of our past. It provides us with the opportunity to grow and develop into who we want to be, without being constrained by the actions of others. It is an opportunity to discover our inner strength and courage, and to locate and unleash the fearless and daring sides of ourselves – the beast within. It is also a chance to cultivate the strength and courage to live our best lives on our own terms.
Remember, no one has the power to rob us of our future unless we allow them to do so.
Journeying Towards a Triumphant Life by Confronting Your Inner Beast:
Your mind is an invaluable asset when it comes to living your best life. However, there is no single definition for what that life looks like. For some, it is defined by opulence, while for others, it is as simple as reading a good book on the beach.
Whatever your definition of a best life may be, it is crucial to discover what “best” life means to you.
One of the most significant potential obstacles to living your best life is the inner beast that resides within you. This beast represents the bravery, drive, and fearlessness that you possess, but on the flip side it also holds negative thoughts, emotions, and habits that can hold you back from achieving your goals.
Confronting this inner beast is essential if you want to overcome the challenges that come your way and live a triumphant life.
Here are a few steps you can take to confront your inner beast:
– Confronting Your Inner Beast: The First Step:
Acknowledge its existence:
The first step to confronting your inner beast is to recognize its presence. This can be challenging, as it forces you to confront the negative aspects of yourself that you may have been avoiding.
– Second Step:
Recognize that your inner beast has demands that require attention:
Identify its inspirations, qualms and triggers: Once you have recognized that your inner beast exists, it is time to get to know it better. Identify what inspires, worries, and triggers it. What circumstances or thoughts tend to bring out its best or worst characteristics? What motivates you to leverage your inner strength to become a better version of yourself?
Once you have answered these questions, you can take action to approach, avoid, or manage these inspirations, qualms, and triggers.

Question Your Inner Narrative:
Your inner critic might be telling you things that are either untrue or overly extreme – either way, they can be daunting to tackle. It is important to identify these thoughts and replace them with positive affirmations, or challenge them with your own determination to live your “best” life.

Show Yourself Compassion:
Confronting the negative aspects of your inner self can be quite difficult, so it is essential to be kind to yourself throughout the process. Practicing self-compassion by treating yourself with the same level of kindness, care, and understanding that you would extend to a friend.
Harnessing the Power of the Beast Within:
Although it may seem contradictory to uncover and unleash one’s inner beast, this force can embody positive strength, bravery, and fearlessness, just as much as it can manifest as anger, negativity, and brashness. It is essential to choose the side of the beast that can lead you to your best life.
Needless to say, the negative and angry beast will not help you achieve this, but the positive and brave beast undoubtedly will.

NAVIGATING THE CHALLENGES OF PERSONAL GROWTH:
Confronting the “Beast” Within and Managing Emotions for Personal Growth
It is useful to recognize that growth and the desire to improve ourselves in various ways – even when it is positive – can be an uncomfortable and difficult journey. Even when we know what we want and aim to lead a fulfilling life, personal growth can come with pain and hardship.
Pursuing our best life is an act of personal growth, and it will challenge us in both good and bad ways.
The “beast” within us – representing both our strengths and weaknesses – may reveal itself all at once or gradually. To make the most of this transformational process, we must learn to manage our emotions and channel them effectively. This requires honesty about our expectations, capabilities, and emotions, and preparing ourselves for what lies ahead.
By confronting our inner beast, we can unleash a more powerful and positively motivated version of ourselves. Additionally, with this awareness in place, we can confidently confront our inner “beast” and move forward towards our goals.
Keeping this in mind, our next step is to explore your inner strengths.
Discovering Your Inner Strengths by Confronting Your “Beast”:
Only you know yourself better than anyone else, and you know what you are capable of achieving, including your strengths and limitations. Your inner beast is a powerful force of nature that understands its purpose and direction – where it is headed.
When facing your beast (your deepest self), try to focus on its positive qualities instead of suppressing negative emotions. Rather than trying to suppress the rage that may surface, embrace the beast’s strength when confronting it. Not every battle and confrontation needs to end in frustration, anger, or other negative outcomes.
When you confront your inner beast, channel your positivity to overcome any negative emotions that stand in the way of your success.
Work to calm your anger or fear, and focus on your positive attributes. By doing so, you can overcome negative emotions, fears, and bad memories that can prevent you from discovering your true potential and living your best life.
You can overcome fear, anger, and negative memories by calling upon your inner strength and determination to create the life you deserve. By confronting your inner beast, you can overcome the negative thoughts and habits that are holding you back and live the best life possible.
Dealing with the Onset of Negative Memories:
Bad memories can be a result of past traumatic experiences. If you are struggling to cope with these memories, seeking professional help is highly recommended. A therapist can help you work through the memories that are holding you back or causing distress. If the memories are manageable, consider journaling or speaking with a trusted friend or relative.
In my own life, I found myself feeling trapped at the age of 23 after a tumultuous relationship filled with physical and emotional abuse. These memories were compounded by my own experiences of childhood abuse. It was impossible to access my inner self, which I knew was essential for my success and happiness. Thankfully, I sought the help of a psychotherapist who helped me to move on from the bad memories and nightmares, and find the self I had hidden for so long.
There is no shame in seeking help when you need it. Mental health issues are now given the attention they deserve, so it is important to prioritize your well-being.
The Importance of Having a Strong Motivator:
What gives you the courage to take risks? It is the reason behind it that truly matters. Finding a reason that ignites your passion and motivates you to put in the effort required to unleash your inner beast is the key to success.
You may already know what your inner beast is capable of, but if you are unsure, focus on your motivation. Is it a good enough reason? Will it propel you towards your goal of becoming a better person with a positive mindset, emotional balance, and spiritual fortitude? If so, then you are on the right path to living your best life, in whatever way you envision it.
Embracing the Uniqueness of Your Inner Beast: A Personal Journey to Self-Discovery
Pain and suffering are universal experiences that every person will go through at some point in their life. However, what is often overlooked is that pain is subjective and unique to each individual.
Everyone processes their pain differently, with some individuals able to move on more quickly than others. It is important to acknowledge that everyone’s emotional journey is distinct, and what one person aims to overcome may not be the same as another’s.
When it comes to facing your inner beast, do not look to others for motivation, but instead seek inspiration from a variety of sources, including books, videos, and social media. Remember that the motivation to pursue your best self comes from within, and you alone own the reason why you strive to uncover the most intellectual and inspired part of your being.
Self-discovery is a process that requires a lot of patience and self-compassion. Embracing your inner beast is about accepting yourself, flaws and all, and working towards becoming the best version of yourself. It is important to remember that this journey is not a linear one and setbacks are bound to happen. Instead of beating yourself up over these setbacks, try to view them as opportunities to learn and grow.

Another helpful tool is to practice self-care. This could mean taking time out of your day to simply do something that brings you joy. Taking care of your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being is essential in helping you stay motivated and focused on your goals.
The journey to self-discovery is unique to each individual. Embrace your inner beast and trust your own process. With patience, self-compassion, and the right tools and support, you can uncover the most authentic and inspired part of yourself.

You do not have to be a celebrity or famous to make a difference in your own life and the lives of others. As long as you feel proud, blessed, accomplished, and eager to do more of what makes you feel alive, you can create your own world where you take charge and unleash your most positive and inspiring inner beast.
Despite the world’s constant changes and uncertainties, you have the power to create your own universe where you are your most positive and inspiring self, every day.
Unleashing My Inner Beast: Reflecting on My Reasons and Motivations (My Journey as a Writer)
From a young age, I had vivid dreams of becoming a writer and inspiring others. However, my shyness and the fear of failure and not living up to my aspirations held me back for a long time. The constant stream of rejection letters from publishers like Random House, Harper Collins, and Simon & Schuster further dampened my spirits and contributed to this fear. At that time, I thought the writing game was easy, but the rejections made me realize the harsh reality.
Interestingly, I am glad that I experienced so many rejections because it motivated me to publish my own works. This became my motivation – my reason for doing what I do. I had to overcome my fears, come out of my shell, put myself out there, and embrace the massive challenge of creating something new. Even though fear still lingers, the love and enjoyment that I get from my work are unparalleled.
I have learned that my written works embody my inner beast, and that my inner self is best expressed through my writing.

Rejection can be tough, but it certainly tested my determination, reinforced my belief, and taught me that writing is my true passion.

The answer is mostly yes with a little bit of no. Fear will always be present in some form, lurking in the shadows of my motivation and progress. What matters most is how I choose to navigate it.

Throughout my healing journey, I have gained the strength to unleash my inner beast and shape my world into a positive, fulfilling place where I can be my best self.
Having said that, I firmly believe that I have curated a distinctive and fulfilling existence for myself. Despite any obstacles or challenges I may face, my life has brought me immense joy, and I am fully committed to this beautiful journey with all its pleasures, achievements, and even occasional setbacks.
Every day, my inner beast motivates me to strive for progress and move towards the best version of myself.
